There are death squads roaming America’s streets today.
What happens when Republicans widen their definition of “the worst of the worst”?
They shot a man dead, in cold blood, murdered in front of his three-year-old daughter, on the street they lived on.
It may, actually, be time for Democrats to simply start campaigning on impeachment, conviction, and removal.
I feel that, today, after the killings of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston and Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Maine, this may be the galvanizing event that crosses party lines.
If not crossing party lines, I feel that now the 42 million Democrats who sat things out will be motivated to vote.
There are 35 Senate seats on the ballot in the 2026 election.
If Democrats won every one of them, they would hold 69 of the Senate’s 100 seats, or 69%.
That sounds like two thirds to me.
Enough. Enough.
